The WARA PS Toolbox summarizes what we do in the arena to support our community, promote cross-organizational collaborations, and drive innovation.
Events
WARA PS arranges annual events for data collections, integration, tests, demonstrations and networking. These events create an opportunity to interact with the community and promote collaborations in the arena. The aim is to target current and future challenges, showcase innovation and share results. All upcoming events for the year are available in our calendar.
Community
The community consists of representatives from academia, industry and government agencies to ensure real applications of the research conducted in the arena. The close collaboration with end users provides needs, requirements and scenarios, while the industry and academia collaborate in developing innovative solutions that address relevant public safety related challenges.
System & Data
WARA PS offers a shared integration infrastructure, the Core System, that connects agents, services, and tools. The Core System is domain-agnostic, has a low technical threshold and can be used for integration, experiments, demonstrations, conducting missions and data collections. All data within the Core System is recorded and can easily be downloaded for post-analysis.
Resources
WARA PS provides members of the community with access to resources ranging from platforms, data centers and labs, to sensors and autonomous vehicles in all domains; space, air, ground, water and underwater. The resources are provided by industry and academia, and are open to use in research, developments and demonstrations with available support in the arena.
Methodology
WARA PS has developed a methodology through which members and organizations are onboarded, supported and integrated into the arena. The methodology is based on a scenario-driven way of working, where requirements and challenges in society control the direction of WARA PS. Through workshops, joint tests and demonstrations, a platform for sharing insights and drive innovation in a collaborative community is created.
Rapid Team Development
WARA PS has adopted a rapid development approach that enables the arena to quickly explore, implement and test new ideas. New functionality is developed as requested by members of the community, and support from the Core Team is available for platform developments and integration.
